Transparency in information disclosure serves to safeguard the rights of applicants and ensures that no representations or commitments are made beyond our authority.

General Information

1. The APEL.Q process is independently implemented by the Schweizer Institut für Hochschulbildung in Management und Innovation (MI Swiss). In accordance with EU regulations and international best practices, the APEL.Q process is implemented to ensure transparency, fairness, independence, and effectiveness. However, it is not a government-funded program nor is it under the jurisdiction of any government body.

2. Upon successful completion of the process, MI Swiss will forward the applicant’s portfolio to the Ofqual UK.Gov Awarding Bodies for independent assessment and qualification issuance. MI Swiss doesn't issues qualifications under any form.

3. The APEL.Q results assessed by MI Swiss and the accompanying documents and attestations are solely intended to assist the awarding body in recognizing the applicant’s competencies in relation to a formal academic program. These outcomes serve to support credit recognition and cost/time savings. The APEL.Q results from MI Swiss do not constitute a professional license, title recognition, appointment validation, or equivalent credential.

4. MI Swiss do not issue academic qualifications (degrees, diplomas, or certificates) upon completion of the APEL.Q process. All qualifications are issued exclusively by the Ofqual UK.Gov Awarding Bodies.

5. MI Swiss reserves the right to accept or reject any APEL.Q application at its sole discretion.

6. MI Swiss and its academic partners reserve the right to immediately revoke any APEL.Q results without refund if the applicant breaches any terms, conditions, or commitments agreed to prior to entering the APEL.Q process.

7. The APEL.Q process fee does not cover costs related to graduation ceremonies (if any), diploma shipping, or any other fees not directly associated with the APEL.Q process itself.

8. This program does not provide recommendation letters or student visa sponsorship for Switzerland or the European Union.

Notice Regarding the APEL.Q Process

  • The APEL.Q process typically takes between 9 to 12 months, depending on the applicant’s submission timeline and the completion of required evidence.
  • Applicants must complete their portfolio and all End-Point Assessments within the specified deadlines in order to be eligible for qualification issuance.
  • Failure to meet the eligibility criteria or to complete the process within the required timeframe may result in disqualification, and fees paid will not be refunded.

  • We do not guarantee that participation in the APEL.Q process will result in qualification, graduation, or degree issuance if the applicant fails to meet academic standards, financial obligations, or other related requirements.
  • In cases of breach of commitment, unauthorized absence, voluntary withdrawal, or violation of regulations including financial obligations, we reserve the right to refuse participation, deny support, revoke student status, and withhold any refunds or tuition reimbursements.
  • There is no assurance that the qualification will be accepted, recognized, deemed equivalent, or accredited by third parties, including agencies, governments, local authorities, or regulatory bodies in any other country. The decision to accept or reject the qualification is subject to the discretion of the receiving entity, as per the regulations of each country, government, local authority, and institution. We strongly encourage and advise all applicants to verify such information prior to enrollment.
  • While there are various regulations regarding cross-recognition and equivalency of qualifications, each country, organization, and institution has the right to determine its own recognition policies. MI Swiss and academic partners do not guarantee, commit to, or promise the recognition of qualifications, certificates, diplomas, or transcripts. Additionally, MI Swiss and academic partners do not guarantee or support the qualification equivalency recognition process (if applicable or required).
  • We make no commitment that graduation will lead to salary increases, promotion, career advancement, immigration opportunities, employment abroad, or the issuance of licenses to work, teach, or practice professionally in Switzerland, Europe, or any other country.
  • All policies, scholarships (if any), and provided information are subject to change or termination without prior notice.
