[APEL.Q] – Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for Award of Academic Qualifications (Q) is the award of academic qualifications to individual learners through the evaluation and assessment of prior experiential learning towards fully accredited programmes offered by the higher education providers (HEPs) partners of Schweizer Institut für Hochschulbildung in Management und Innovation (MI Swiss).
.
A qualification with [APEL.Q] pathway is granted on the basis of the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired through formal, informal, or non-formal learning.
The competency framework used for assessing candidates in the APEL.Q process is based on occupational standards, aligning the required job position competencies with the learning outcomes of the academic program.
Schweizer Institut für Hochschulbildung in Management und Innovation (MI Swiss) is the first independent APEL.Q provider in the world with the partnership of many universities. Students can get an accredited degree from 09 – 12 months and save more than 80% on tuition fees if they study full-time in Europe.
